Until January 1st I’ve taken $1.00 off the price of this pattern! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
This little Owl holder is a great scrap buster since it takes only about 20- 25 yards of yarn. Perfect to use up all those little left over bits you have laying about. They’d be a great little gift to make for someone who likes to knit of just whip one up for yourself. They take about an hour to make. You can make them in any color for a whole flock of them.

I got tired of my double pointed needle sets getting lost in the bottom of my knitting bag and them not being all together so I just started knitting one up. I made a set of garden themed holders and then this owl. I do love owls!

These are knit from the bottom up and the head is attached so it won’t get lost.

You must use 100% wool yarn to make these since you do felt them after you knit it up. Do not use superwash. I tried it and it really doesn’t felt!!! HA!

You will need the following:
1 set of size US #7 or #8 double pointed needles
20-25 yards of yarn- any color combo you want to make it in.
A darning/yarn needle to weave in ends.
Some elbow grease to rub it together and felt it when you’re done knitting.
A button or snap
A crochet hook- in a size C- 2.75mm
