Je vous présente Neeloum la petite chouette. Elle est plus petite qu’Emil l’écolier. Mais, en réalité, elle est née avant lui. Elle est donc sa « petite grande sœur ».
J’ai décidé de dédier ce patron à ma petite grande sœur à moi, car elle a été un soutien précieux pour moi depuis le tout début de cette aventure créative.
C’est elle qui a choisi le nom de « Neeloum ». Neeloum c’était le nom de ma poupée, ça aurait pu être le nom de ma sœur et, selon ma maman, cela signifie « je t’aime beaucoup ». Je trouve que ça lui convient parfaitement.
À ma petite grande sœur.

Vous aurez besoin de savoir réaliser un cercle magique, des mailles serrées, des mailles coulées, des mailles en l’air, des demi-brides, augmenter, diminuer et changer de couleur.

La taille de votre Amigurumi peut changer en fonction du fil et du crochet que vous choisissez.

▪ Optionnel : du fil doré pour les yeux
◦ Un crochet 2,5mm (ou un crochet adapté au fil que vous avez choisi)
◦ Une paire de ciseaux
◦ Une aiguille à tapisserie
◦ De la ouate de rembourrage
◦ Un marqueur de rang (ou un morceau de fil d’une couleur contrastante)

EN - Crochet pattern to make Neeloum the owl.

Let me introduce you to Neeloum the little owl. She is smaller than Emil the Schoolowl. But, actually, she was born before him. That makes her his “little big sister”.
I decided to name this pattern after my little big sister, because she has been a precious support for me since the very beginning of this creative adventure.
She is the one who chose the name “Neeloum”. Neeloum was my doll’s name, it could have been my sister’s name and, according to my mom, it means “I love you very much”. I think it suits her perfectly.

░ Intermediate level ░

You need to know how to make a magic ring, single crochet, slip stitch, chain, half double crochet, increase, decrease and change colors.

░ Size ░

Approx. 15 cm.
The size of your Amigurumi may change depending on the yarn and hook you choose.

░ Materials ░

◦ Cotton yarn in the color of your choice. I used “Fonty Bohème”
▪ Dark yellow
▪ Beige
▪ Light grey
▪ Light yellow
▪ Black
▪ Optional: gold thread for the eyes
◦ A 2,5 mm hook (or a hook that is suitable for the yarn you have chosen)
◦ A pair of scissors
◦ A tapestry needle
◦ Stuffing (fiberfill)
◦ A stitch marker (or a piece of yarn in a contrasting color)

Note: You can use any yarn you wish, just keep in mind that you’ll need to adapt your crochet hook size, and that the finished Amigurumi size will vary.
