The sweater is a top-down raglan cardigan with a square yoke. It has a lace pattern near the bottom of the sweater and also at the wrist of the sleeves. The hat is worked in the round, bottom-up and has the lace pattern just above the hat band.

I made the sweater in pink and again in blue. The entire time I was knitting the pink one, I kept thinking of the pink sweater I made my DD when she was little. It was a different pattern but was the exact same shade of pink - her favorite. Her nickname is Neen and she is also a member of ravelry. :)
