NEEDLES AND NOTIONS

Main Fabric: Circular needle size 3 mm/US 2.5 with cable length of 80 cm (32 in) OR SIZE NEEDED TO GET THE GAUGE and one set DPN of the same size.

Ribbing: Circular needle 3 mm / US 2.5 with cable length of 80 cm (32 in) and one set DPN of the same size.

4 stitch markers, 4 long stitch holders to hold front, back and sleeve stitches, tapestry needle

GAUGE

24 sts and 58 rnds = 10 cm/4 in over Fisherman’s Rib in the rnd. For best results, be sure to get the recommended gauge.

When counting rnds of Fisherman’s Rib to check gauge, each visible stitch in a knitted column represents two rnds worked: one rnd in which the stitch was worked as K1b or p1, and the next rnd in which the st was worked as a k1 or P1b. This means 10 visible sts in a column represent 20 rnds.
