Neil the Puffin
Neil the puffin is part of project Arctic. In Project Arctic I crochet different animals that live on or around the poles. They may live on the ice, in the air or in the water. What makes those animals special, is that many of them have a very different appearance when they’re young compared to when they are grown up. And that is very nice to crochet!
The puffin is a small bird with a wingspan of 50 cm and a weight of 300-700 gram. He is easily recognisable with its black and white feathers and typical large and coloured beak. Puffins fly over the sea to find their food, particularly fish.
Size
The puffin is about 12 cm high, 8 cm wide and 9 cm long.
