Come and join the Nell Shawl KAL in my Ravelry group

Nell is a simple but unusual shawlette, with a garter stitch body and an interesting pleated edge. Knit from the top down in approximately 200g DK weight yarn, the pleated edging is knit on sideways, using the live stitches on the needle after completion of the body. The pleated edge is worked with a simple combination of knit and purl stitches, with short rows providing some shaping. The finished item is reversible, giving you two looks for the price of one!

Instructions are provided in both written and charted format.

The gold version shown is knit in Babylongs Semi~Precious DK in Auld Gold. The pink version is knit in Rowan Luxury Cotton DK in Slipper.
