Errata
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until there are 170 sts is incorrect. The pattern should read, repeat rows 1 and 2 until there are 270 sts.
From the Begin Border Chart section Row 2 (WS) Knit. should read Row 2 (WS) Purl.

Nell is a classic, elegant shawl perfect for beginning lace knitters or more experienced knitters looking for a quick fun project. The shawl is worked from the upper edge to the lower edge.
