A simple slouchy beanie with wave-like cable and a fun cabled ribbing

I was inspired to design this basic slouchy hat after I found out someone special to me was diagnosed with Cancer, I wanted to knit her a hat that was thick and warm but yet still stylish. It has a simple cable that reminds me of the little rolling waves on the beaches of Nelson where she lives. It is best suited to a solid or semi-solid yarn.
