Nemesis Mitts
”Miss Marple pulled down the mass of pink wool that encircled her head, a pink wool scarf of the same kind that she had once worn in the West Indies.
‘One of my names,’ she said, ‘is Nemesis.’”
- from Agatha Christie’s novel, Nemesis
Suitable for a man or a woman, these mitts provide an uncomplicated knit, with just enough variety to keep your interest. With only 4 rows of simple 1/1 cables, this is a great pattern for practicing cables.
The Nemesis Mitt is companion to my Nemesis Hat. Both use the same main pattern as appears in my Nemesis sock pattern, one of my most popular.
The mittens are one size fits most, but the pattern is also highly customizable by switching up the yarn weight (sport/DK).
Two skeins of indigodragonfly Merino sock yarn will be enough to create both the hat and mitts as written. One skein will provide generous yardage for the mittens.
