The Nemo nay-mo Sweater is a drop shoulder sweater worked seamlessly from the top down. First, the back yoke is worked flat in the texture pattern. Next, stitches are picked up from the cast-on edge and short rows are worked for the back and front shoulders. Then, the shoulders are joined to form the front yoke. When the front and the back yokes are finished, the work is joined in the round and worked to the hem. The sleeves are picked up from the armhole and worked in the round, and decreases are worked before ribbing for a tight cuff.

The Nemo Sweater requires the following techniques: cast on, picking up stitches, knit and purl stitches, increases (M1L, M1R), decreases (k2tog, p2tog, ssk, ssp), German short rows, double knitting and tubular bind off.
