Inspired by my favourite bird at my local wetland, the tame and gentle Nene goose. This crescent shaped shawl uses simple, repetitive lace to mimic the distinctive neck feathers and markings of the NeNe.
Extremely versatile to wear due to its elongated shape, it sits quite beautifully over the shoulders.

Worked from tip to tip in three continuous sections, this is a project for those wanting to explore lace in a simple and repetitive way.

Uses 160g of 4ply/sock weight yarn.
