The Nenna Cardigan is a cardigan for every day and suitable for many occasions. The cardigan is worked top down in one piece with no seams. The sleeves are incorporated into the upper body, using the “simultaneous set-in sleeve”method, developed by Barbara Walker, then they are worked seamlessly in the round. Body and sleeves are worked in Stockinette Stitch with panels of long vertical ribbing. The front bands are worked lengthwise simultaneously with the body in an easy-to-memorize lace pattern. The cardigan has a V-neck and slight A-Line shaping and is designed to be worn open. The inset pockets are worked as you go. The ribbing and the lace patterns make this interesting and fun to knit.

Die Nenna Jacke ist eine Jacke für jeden Tag und passend zu vielen Anlässen. Sie wird von oben nach unten (top down) in einem Stück ohne Nähte gestrickt. Dabei werden die Ärmel nach der von Barbara Walker entwickelten „simultaneous set-in sleeve“-Methode mitgestrickt und anschließend nahtlos in Runden fertiggestellt. Sowohl Rückenteil und Vorderteile als auch die Ärmel werden zum Teil glatt rechts und zum Teil in einem Rippenmuster gestrickt. Die Blende in einem einfach zu strickenden Lochmuster wird längs und gleichzeitig mit den Vorderteilen gestrickt. Die Jacke hat einen V-Ausschnitt und eine leichte A-Linie und wird offen getragen. Die Taschen sind eingestrickt. Durch die verschiedenen verwendeten Muster wird das Stricken nie langweilig!
