This hat is woven on the top and loom knit on the sides, all on the same loom. It is fairly simple, but time consuming. The end result is a hat that can be worn on crisp or warm days without discomfort.

The size fits the head of a woman, though if you wear your hair up or just have quite a bit of hair, it may be a bit tight.

I would suggest using the same yarn for both the warp and the weft, but that decision is up to you.
