Neon Signs Afghan
Have you ever struggled to find a crochet pattern for an afghan that’s…
a. light enough to use on warmer days and nights
b. large enough to wrap around yourself and cover you from head to toe
c. flexible like fabric with great stretch
d. so easy that even novice crocheters can make it
e. designed to work well with any colorway (striped, solid, or variegated)
If so, then you may be looking for the Neon Signs Afghan Pattern!
This easy crochet pattern uses approximately 3500 yards of a DK weight yarn to make a finished piece that’s 57x75”. (The featured yarn is Lion Brand Mandala in colorway Sirens, almost exactly 6 full skeins.) Notes are also included in the pattern on how to adjust the length and/or width of your project as you desire.
Also required are a US-H 8/5.00mm crochet hook, tapestry needle, and scissors.
Make your own unique light and bright afghan with your favorite striping DK weight cake yarn. Or, make a timeless classic with a solid color that you can keep on hand all year round.
