This pattern gives instructions for 4 different designs: ruana, open vest, cardigan and boatneck pullover. Ruana and open vest instructions are fully detailed. Cardigan and boatneck pullover instructions are slightly less so, but quite easy to understand for an experienced crocheter. The ruana pattern is considered the main pattern, and you will be referred to it to work the other design options.

The pattern also gives instructions for 3 different lengths: cropped, mid-thigh and duster as well as a Yardage Estimate Chart based on data kindly provided by the pattern’s testers.

Because this pattern is made-to-measure, you are welcome to try out the gauge swatch in the yarn of your choice – although yarn weighs Super Fine, Fine and Light will probably work best. Be sure to size up generously on hook size.

Yardage greatly depends on length and design option. The pattern comes with a detailed Yardage Estimate Chart based on tester versions.

For this intermediate level pattern, you are expected to know how to make an FSC, a chain, a slip stitch, an SC, an HDC and a DC.

This is a written pattern with photos only. There are no charts. Not quite suitable for beginners unless very confident.
