The Neptune top is an elegant gathered top. The design is very minimalistic, wearable and timeless. The top can be styled up or down, making it a versatile wardrobe staple for many different occasions. You can wear it with jeans for casual everyday outings or with tapered pants and strappy heels for parties.

The Neptune top is knitted seamlessly top down. The front and back are knitted separately until the underarm, after which all pieces are joined together and the body is knitted in the round. The front and back are started with a Provisional Cast On to create a fold for the i-cord strap. The hem is folded double to give the top a neat and finished look.

Needles

Gauge
23 sts and 31 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches of Stockinette stitch flat and in the round, blocked.
