A Cowl Pattern by Stephanie Buford using LunabudKnits Mare or Irish Helen lace yarns.

Notes:

Using Provisional Cast-On, CO 90 stitches.

Gauge is not very important as Cuculla is a cowl meant to wrap around the neck or drape over one’s head when worn.

To increase the width of the pattern, increase Cast On with multiples of 3.

Original sample used a Longtail CO which was then seamed after normal BO.

When blocking, cowl is lightly blocked to stretch the central open pattern while retaining the outer edge design.
