I designed this hat during spring break at Neskowin beach. Slip stitch mosaic knitting allows use of two colors in one row without the difficulty of handling two separate strands of yarn simultaneously. The yarn worked only changes every 2 rows, and the unworked yarn is moved up the inside of the hat without cutting it, which decreases the number of ends to weave in when finished. This technique is a great way to ease into colorwork knitting! The pattern can be adjusted to fit a variety of head sizes. Any aran or worsted weight yarn can be used.
