19 sts and 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Rib pattern on larger needles, blocked.
For the most accurate results when knitting elastic rib, knit and wet-block a large swatch before starting the pullover, taking care not to stretch fabric when blocking.
N O T E S
The pullover is worked from the top down. Back is knit first, with short row shaping for shoulders. Left front is worked next, starting with shoulder placket, and worked to base of neck. Stitches are picked up for the right front and worked to base of neck, then fronts are joined and worked to the underarm. Front and back are joined to work the body in the round to the hem. Stitches are picked up at the armhole to knit the sleeve in the round to the cuff. To maintain the dimensional quality of the rib pattern, do not stretch the fabric when blocking. Choose the size with 8–14” / 20–35 cm of positive ease.
