This is the first in a series of mini crypids I am amazed by these creatures that have been spotted by people the world over yet have not been proven scientificly to exist. The Loch Ness Monster (nessie for short) is a creature said to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. The common belief is that Nessie is a plesiosaurus that survived since the time of dinosaurs. That is basis on which I based this depiction. I made her real small on size 1 needles, however you can make her and size you want by changing the needle size and or yarn size. For example you can use a size 3 needle and dk yarn to make one about twice the size. Have fun knitting her and stay tuned for more crypids.
