Nested V-Stitch Pattern
This is a very unique pattern stitch that uses V-Stitches to create a colored ripple and chunky knit look. The technique I use enables you to change colors every row without the need of fastening off and having a million ends to weave in. This creates a stretchy and thick fabric perfect for blankets and winter accessories.
When you work the pattern in rows your work will face the same way for two rows, carrying the color up the sides and going back to the beginning to pick up the next color.
You can make this is a single color but you will need two separate balls of yarn if you make this in rows.
This pattern can be made using a DC V-St as well as a TR V-St.
The shorter the stitch the more shallow your ripples will be.
This pattern has several pictures that should help. You can use any yarn you wish, though in the pictures I used worsted weight with a large hook.
There are instructions on how to work this stitch in the round as well as in rows.
Please let me know if you need any help :)
