No gauge needed … just a ruler to determine the diameter of the base, heighth of the sides and width of the “collar.”
I STRONGLY suggest the Double Worsted Weight yarn. It holds the shapoe better than the Worsted Weight.
If the Double Worsted Weight is unavailable, use any thick yarn, or 2 threads of worsted weight.
