This is a great project to crochet on the go between other bigger projects. There is a great need of baskets at my home. I am constantly looking for either my keys, mobile or lipstick. Thus, I created a set of nesting baskets in according colors to put around the house and keep the small items in.

You can use any type of yarn. But for optimum results I recommend a thick cotton yarn. I used DMC Natura Just Cotton XL. Each ball is 100 g/82 y. You will need less than one ball for the smallest basket one ball for the middle sized one, and a little bit more than a ball for the biggest one. I used a crochet hook size 10 ½.
