The Nesting hat and booties set features a 3-colour tuck stitch pattern. The contrasting stripes nest inside an overlaid grid of the main colour to give a subtle but textured effect.

Both the hat and booties are knitted in-the-round from the bottom up. The tuck stitch pattern makes them soft and very stretchy.

The pattern is for use with light sport weight or fingering weight yarn. The hat pattern is in 5 sizes, ranging from premature to 3 years. The booties are in 3 sizes, from birth to 12 months (0 – 3, 3 – 6 and 6 – 12 months). Detailed written instructions and an optional chart are given. All measurements are given in both metric and imperial.
