Nesting Cardigan
This cardigan is inspired by settling in and taming the chaos; the perfect knitwear to throw on, grab everything you need, and nestle in. This design features a textured collar and back panel, a cozy, comfy collar, roomy sleeves for layering, and pockets for stowing odds and ends. Wear as an open cardigan or optionally add buttons for further bundling up.
You can also knit a coordinating Nesting Hat

CONSTRUCTION:
This garment is knit seamlessly from the top down. Starting with the collar, sts are picked up and then raglan increases are worked until sleeve sts are set aside, working the body and sleeves to hems. Afterthought pockets are optionally added on the main body, and worked after finishing the main body. Then the rolled button band is picked up and added, with optional button holes. Buttons can be added on both sides to button either direction.
