Beautiful, soft, warm and sparkly, the Nesting Cowl is made with our Silk Shimmer and this is what makes this simple project special. This cowl is worked from the bottom up in a spiral, with a full twist, and begins and ends with a double crochet stitch.

Yarn: 1 skein Fidalgo Artisan Yarn’s Silk Shimmer (63% Silk, 23% Kid Mohair, 10% Nylon & 4% Polyester; 100g = 330 yds).

Hooks and Notions: US H (5mm) and US I (5.5mm) hooks, a locking stitch marker and darning needle.

Gauge: 4.5 stitches and spaces per inch in pattern and 4.5 stitches per row before blocking.

Finished Blocked Measurement: Approximately 24 inches in circumference and 14 inches tall when flat.

Pattern Notes: Please use the I hook for the initial chain and ending chain rows, switch to H for the DC rows and back to I for pattern stitch.
