This listing is for a pattern to make a set of 4 Owl nesting dolls. These little birds are hand crocheted with cotton yarn and have safety eyes. The largest Owl is approx. 8in tall.

These cute little owls stack inside each other just like the beloved Matryoshka dolls of Russia. They are soft and plyable so they would be great for soft play.

The safety eyes are firmly secured and covered on the inside of each doll. Instructions inside!

What a great addition to any owl or babushka collection!!

Teminology:

ch- Chain
st- stitch
sc- Single Crochet
sc2tog- single crochet 2 stitches together (explained in pattern)
sl st- Slip Stitch

Materials Needed:

Size: For Project pictured I used H US/5.00 MM Crochet Hook, but you can use any ize
you want and get the same effect.
Yarn: 2 Colors of Worsted weight yarn. Go simple with something like Red Heart or go
soft and fancy, it depends on what look you are going for. But most of all have fun with
your yarn. Go traditional or add a splash of crazy color combos!
Poly Fiber Stuffing
Stitch marker
safety eyes or beads
Felt ( for eyes and beak)
Thread (same color as beak)
Sewing needle**
