Netherland Dwarf Bunny
Welcome to my World little Seal Point Netherland Dwarf - big name for one so small. - I would say life size too.
I’ve knitted mine in strands of alpaca and kid silk (knitted together as one) - but I have also seen many of my bunny patterns knitted in hand-dyed and hand spun yarn - even Angora, which all look stunning - so the yarn choice (which is listed within the pattern) is an open book really.
He/ she is make-up as you go along, so I’ll stop the knitting and sew a little seam - less complicated that way and also nice to see the shape coming together.
I have also tried to stress how important it is to stuff the finished bunny properly - one of the most important bit of the finished look I think - and given a few tips.
You’ll also need some 12mm toy eyes - I buy mine from ebay - but many yarn/ haberdashery shops and stores will have these, quite popular eyes for sure.
Enjoy this little knitting project - suitable for a beginner with assistance I’d say - but please, please take care with the finishing/ stuffing!
