Nettle Cowl
The Nettle Cowl is a wonderful project for destashing, especially if you use more than one color of yarn. In total, I used about 150 yards of Aran and a 5.50 mm hook. You will need about 90 yards of the main color and 60 yards of the secondary one. You may use any Aran yarn or equivalent with the hook size necessary to meet gauge.
This pattern offers a graded/meet-the-gauge solution as well as a made-to-measure one, allowing you to follow the dimensions of your own swatch and set your own stitch count.
This pattern is suited for advanced or confident beginners. You are expected to know how to make a chain, a DC, a slip stitch and an SC, and how to work in the back loop only. All other stitches are explained in the pattern’s Stitch Tutorial.
Enjoy!
