Never Ending
This pattern is inspired by artwork of capsOne (with persmission) and is a combination of crochet and embroidery. So you will not only need a crochet hook, but also a tapestry needle for the lining.
It is made with carreaux crochet, a way of making a double layered patch in one go. Ideal for potholders, coasters, blankets…
The pattern comes with a lot of images to explain both the crochet technique and the embroidery. You will find three different PDF-files: text, charts and images. This way you can print the text and watch the images on screen. For those who (also) don’t have a printer: open the text file in your PDF reader and the images in your browser. The basic chart can be drawn on graph paper.
These potholder are made of 100% cotton (50 g / 125 m). You will need two basic colors for the crochet part (I’ve used 30 gr / 75 m per color). And - depending on your choice for the lines - 16 to 35 m of the third color.
