The Never-Ending Cable Afghan is worked in one long, continuous spiral. (No sewing!) Finish on any corner you like; it isn’t even necessary to complete a full round for the blanket to look balanced. Make it for a crib, for a child, for a twin bed, or for a king bed—whatever you desire, and however much yarn you have on hand.

This pattern works great with long color changes or to use up leftover scraps of yarn. Just work till you run out of one, then pick up another. The cables do eat up yarn quickly, but the blanket comes out so soft and squishy, it’s worth every single yard.
