Never-Ending Cowl
The Never-Ending Cowl is truly NEVER ENDING as there are no seams or discernible cast-on edge. In fact, this pattern is so simple, it is really more of a knitting exercise in perfecting the provisional cast-on and grafting ( also called kitchener stitch).
If these techniques are new to you, here are some resources that will help:
Kitchener stitch (Grafting)
Crochet Provisional Cast On
I have used a fine thick and thin cotton here. Feel free to use any weight, particularly textured yarns. Simply use a much larger needle size for a drapey effect. If you decide to cast on more stitches for a wider scarf, remember that it is knit in the round and is therefore double- thick.
This project is perfect mindless summer knitting!
