Never Shall Meet
Never Shall Meet is a shawl/scarf knit on the bias which uses four stitch patterns, which result in parallel lines - hence the name.
The Shawl comes in two sizes - the larger using the yardage of a generous single skein or 3 x 50g balls of fingering yarn and has a length of 87”. The smaller one is ideal for handspun as it needs only 270-300 yards of fingering but delivers a shawl length of 72”!
The stitch patterns are simple yet engaging and the design will work well in solids, semi solids and long colour repeat yarns.
Gauge - 23st = 34rows = 4”
Yardage - larger 455-475 yards; smaller 270-300 yards
Size - larger 87”x16”; smaller 72”x16”
Stitches used - K, P, K2tog, P2tog, Ssk, Kfb, slip st
The pattern gives written instructions for the stitch patterns (they are so straight forward charts are really not necessary) and then you can follow either a detailed line by line instruction with stitch counts throughout or a more summarized version for each size.
Due to new EU tax rules, in effect from Jan2015, EU customers will checkout using Loveknitting.com. VAT will be added at checkout. The pattern will be added to your Ravelry library.
I would like to recognise my test knitters who have helped me get this pattern published - applecor, chau7, chemlady chocolatekate and princessteach. Thank you.
