This is a soft heart-shaped cloth, with a bit of an origami look. It features garter stitch with a smooth, wrapped edge. The 6” size makes the washcloths stackable and attractive to present, as well as being practical.
One ball of Paintbox Cotton Aran yarn (93 yds) will make 3 heart cloths with a usable bit to spare. This yarn comes in many colors and it is very fun to make several cloths in your favorites. I have used colors from the Yarn pack called: Jewels.
It’s an excellent small project for an adventurous beginner with simple increases and decreases. The wrapped edges add a finished look and durability to the cloth.
They make wonderful gifts along with a hand made soap.
