New Arrival Overalls
The New Arrival Overalls came into being due to the fact I am expecting my first baby at the end of Autumn and wanted something cute, warm and practical to dress her in. I also wanted something that worked up quickly without any tricky techniques so that it was a relaxing project that did not take too long.
The New Arrival Overalls are cast on and worked in rows for the front before additional stitches are cast on and joined in the round for the waistband. There is gentle increase shaping through the bottom before the legs are separated and worked one at a time. The straps are made last and stitched on. You may choose to leave them plain or to add the ruffles as I did. Whatever you choose, I hope you agree that the New Arrival Overalls are a fast, satisfying knit and that you are happy with the cute finished product – I know I am!
