New Beginning's Clutch
I designed this tapestry crochet clutch for Issue 110 of Inside Crochet magazine in 2019. It celebrated my first foray into tapestry crochet, and I learned A LOT along the way.
I love the fact that the patterns in tapestry crochet are created by colour placement rather than complexity of stitches. It is also extremely easy to customise - both in the pixelated pattern you choose to use and in the number of repeats/size of the finished item.
The pattern is available for free on my website (US Terminology) as well as in Issue 110 of Inside Crochet Magazine (Abbreviated UK Terminology).
I also have a very detailed step-by-step tutorial for making tapestry items in the round, in case you need help with this technique.
Enjoy!
