This knit was named after the main street in my neighbourhood. The brioche motif is a modified version of Nancy Marchant’s herringbone from the Knitting Fresh Brioche 2 book. It reminded me of houses with trees in the yard, and the lace is the green spaces in between rows of houses.

The lace is simple and easily memorized, and I found the whole knit hard to put down.

CONFESSION: I’ve never made a gauge swatch, so don’t look at the measurement here.

The pattern has been tested, but please message me if you have any issues. There is a worsted version in the projects for anyone wanting to make a lapghan/heavy shawl. The knitter used 4 skeins of Riverstone Yarns in worsted weight on a US 6 (4mm) needle.
