New Goethea shawl — is a traditional triangular shawl with gentle and beautiful lace stitch patterns. It`s a variation of Goethea shawl but without nupps.

Notes:

• This is a classic triangular shawl worked in one piece top down.
• There are 146 rows in the sample, but the size of the shawl is easily adjustable.
• Skill level: medium.
• Knitting skills required: reading charts, basic lace knowledge, blocking lace shawls.
• For knitting the shawl you will need: 450-550 yds (400-500 m) of lace weight yarn of natural fibers -merino, wool, linen, mohair silk blend, alpaca silk blend, merino silk blend, linen silk blend, etc.

Yardage: 438 yds / 400 m.
Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm).
Finished measurements (after blocking):
wingspan 71’’ (180 cm),
depth 33.5’’ (85 cm).
