New Growth
“New Growth” was written before my big move back to the Sunshine Coast, BC. It features simple lace leaves and delicate cable knit vines, bordered with simple cable spires. It is a perfect pattern for beginners wishing to grow their knitting knowledge, or for more advanced knitters wanting a fun, easy, meditative project.
It calls for one ball of sport weight yarn and 3.5mm 16” circular needles.
I used Everlea Yarns Organic Merino in the colour way “Ffrench Locks”. This yarn is Canadian based and dyed using all natural dyes, like indigo. It gives gorgeous stitch definition, too.

The faux fur pompom I used is from Yarn Boler and has a snap attachment so you can interchange your pompoms. Find her on Instagram at @yarnboler!
