The finished gnome is about 10 inches tall, without the hat and 13 inches with the hat. Everything is knit on straight needles and seamed. A Bickford seam is used for the back of the gnome, the hat, and arms. This is done by weaving back and forth knot to knot and loop to loop of the edges of the work.
