The New Moon Shawl has the shape of a new moon rising. Along the outer edge there is a line of medallion shape lace motifs. The upper edge is finished with an i-cord cast off. It knits up quickly from the bottom up in worsted or DK weight yarn, making it soft and warm as well as elegant.

It can be worn around the neck for warmth, or as an eye-catching accessory around the shoulders.

The pattern consists of a 7 page pdf with images, written instructions and chart.

Swedish: Schalen Nymåne har formen av en månskära, med en rad genombrutna medaljonger längs nederkanten. Upptill är den prydligt avslutad med en i-cord-avmaskning. På bilden är den stickad i mjuk ull och stickor 4½, som gör den på samma gång fyllig och läckert genomsläpplig där den är mönsterstickad.
