The Sampler Linen top is a lacy top perfect for warm summer weather. It is an elegant design, using very easy stitches separated by garter stitch lines to give it an original look.

This top is knitted from the bottom up in the round. separating at the armholes and continue knitting flat, shaping the neck on the front side, continuing with the shoulders and the back.

This one is knitted in Omega Nilo (from Mexico) it is a blend of cotton (60%) linen (30%) and silk (10%), it is a fine yarn, but it gives a nice lace like look knitted with larger needles. I used a little less than 3 balls of yarn. You can use something similar, if it gives you the correct gauge.

Gauge

24 st. & 26 rows in stockinette, with 4.5 mm needle, 10 x 10 cm, after blocking.

It comes in three sizes: S/M, M/L.
The approximate measures of the garment (blocked) are:
S / M: 36 / 38 in
M / L: 40 /42 in

NOTE
It gives a positive ease of about 2 in, depending on the yarn used, but cotton usually opens a little bit more when blocked.

The reason for the sizes is because it is not a fitted garment, and if your bust measure is 38/39, I recommend size S/M, if you are 40/42, you should knit size M/L.
If you use cotton, linen or bamboo, the finished top will stretch a bit more than an acrylic yarn when blocked.
