THIS is the time of the year when we are all very tired of our winter suits, but the fact must be faced that there are still plenty of cold days ahead on which we must wear them. HAVE you thought of the changes that can be wrought by adding another bright jumper to the wardrobe? The old suit takes on a new smartness and freshness, and any shabbiness, real or imaginary, is atoned for.

Materials:

  • 8 ozs. 4-ply Paton’s Super Scotch Fg. (The Land) / Beryl Angora Wool (P&B)
  • Two No. 9 and two No. 10 “Inox” knitting needles (Old UK)

Measurements:

  • Length from top of shoulder, 18 ins.
  • Width all round at under-arm, 33 ins.
  • Length of sleeve from under-arm, 16 ins.

Work at a tension to produce 6½ stitches to the inch, measured over the Moss pattern—the correct size will only be obtained by exactly following this instruction.
