The all-over textured fabric really shows off all colours of yarn, whether it’s a plain colour, self-striping or variegated, it will look fabulous.

They are knitted top-down with a ‘strong’ type of heel, and feature seed stitch for the leg and top of the foot, and a reinforcing partridge stitch for the heel, sole and toe. This results in a harder-wearing sock, less likely to wear through, and a lovely comfortable feel.

3 women’s sizes are given, and the Wee Duchess provides many hints and tips as you work.
