Newborn Angel Wings and Halo Photo Prop
I was thinking about a Valentine’s day outfit that was simple and sweet, which led to the creating of newborn angel wings and halo. Although, I feel as though an angel outfit could be used year round for a newborn, but I love the idea of it for Valentine’s day. Also, it’s great for those parents that don’t know the gender or want more gender neutral outfits.
Materials Needed:
Bulky Weight Yarn #5 – I used Bernat Pipsqueak in Whitey White (approx 60 yards) for the wings and Premier Lash Lux in Angora (approx 5 yards) for the halo. Any bulky weight yarn will work though.
Size H/5.0mm Crochet Hook
Optional: Pipe Cleaners – 2 in white (standard size is great – about 12″ long)
Gauge: Please check your gauge, to ensure correct sizing. Although sizing does not need to be exact for this pattern.
With ‘H’ hook and bulky weight yarn: 3 Rows of DC and 5 DC stitches across is 2” by 2”
