This top quality pattern is 15 pages (8 if you print double sided!) and guides you along with plenty of pictures and tips.

Gauge: 20 single crochet stitches by 22 rows makes a 4x4 inch square.
Because this is a non-wearable item, you don’t need to stress too much about guage as long as your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show.

Suggested Yarn
Worsted Weight, 4 ply Acrylic Yarn
There are so many ways you can do the colors for this! I liked making the main color lighter and then a darker version of the same color for the second color.
For the demonstration I used:
Light blue – Big Twist “Sky Blue”
Dark Blue – Red Heart Super Saver “Royal”
White – Red Heart Super Saver “White”

Yardage:
80 yards main color (light blue), 10 yards secondary color (dark blue), and 1.5 yards white
Yardage can vary by person and gauge. These are estimates based on my own use. It is always good to have a little extra just in case!

You will also need:
Sizes D (3.25) Crochet Hook
Stuffing
9 mm Safety Eyes (Remember not for toddlers or destructive kids!)
Wire: I used 8 – 10 pipe cleaners – this is optional, but recommended!
