Newborn Baby Sloth Hat
This crochet pattern gives you the instructions needed, so that you can make an adorable and fuzzy sloth hat.
Materials Needed:
Bulky Weight Yarn #5-- Yarn pictured is:
Lion Brand Pelt In Fisher (approx 65 yards)
Worsted Weight Yarn #4-- Yarn pictured is:
Red Heart Super Saver in Buff (approx 10 yards)
Red Heart Soft in Chocolate (approx 4 yards),
Red Heart Soft in Black (approx 2 yards), and
Size H/5.0 mm Crochet Hook--or hook needed for gauge
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Tape Measure
2 Buttons - ½” with needle and thread
Gauge:
With ‘H’ hook and bulky weight yarn #5 (Lion Brand Pelt- even though it is bulky weight yarn, it is thinner than most bulky weight): 4 Rows of dc and 7 dc stitches across is 2” by 2”
Abbreviations:
ch: chain
st(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
fdc: foundation double crochet
tr: treble or triple crochet
