This crochet pattern give you the instructions, so that you can make a newborn baby elephant hat and unattached tail. Versatile outfit that can be changed to meet several photo shoots. Great for safari theme, with a baby boy or girl. Easy photo set up for twins, with another safari animal or changing/adding bow. Perfect addition to any photo session. Please keep in mind that due to small parts all children should be monitored while wearing.

Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Yarn #4­­ Yarn pictured:
Red Heart Soft in Light Grey Heather (approx 120 yards)
Optional: Caron Simply Soft in Soft Pink (approx 10 yards)
Bulky Weight Yarn #5­­ Yarn pictured is:
Lion Brand Pelt in Mink (approx 2 yards)
Size H/5.0 mm Crochet Hook­­ or hook needed for gauge
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Tape Measure

Gauge:
With ‘H’ hook and worsted weight yarn:
4 Rows of dc and 7 dc stitches across is 2” by 2”
