Newborn Fisherman Outfit
This crochet pattern gives you the instructions, so that you can make a fisherman hat, suspenders, fishing pole and little amigurumi fish. Perfect photo prop for every little boy and girl! Great for any newborn photo session!
Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Yarn #4--Yarn pictured is:
Red Heart Soft in: (Approx Yardage)
Wheat (230 yards), Really Red (40 yards), Guacamole (30 yards), White (10 yards), and Light Grey Heather (10 yards)
Caron Simply Soft in:
Sunshine (30 yards), Chocolate (20 yards), and Dark Country Blue (15 yards)
Red Heart with Love in Iced Aqua (10 yards)
Size H/5.0mm Crochet Hook -- or hook size needed to achieve correct gauge
Size E/3.5mm Crochet Hook
Tapestry Needle
Poly-Fill Stuffing
Stitch Marker Recommended
Scissors
Tape Measure
2 Buttons (3/4” size) with matching thread and needle
Gauge: With ‘H’ hook and worsted weight yarn: 4 rows of dc and 7 dc stitches across is 2” by 2”
For ‘E’ hook, you just want stitches tight enough, so that you don’t see the stuffing.
Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
St(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
sc2tog: single crochet two together
FPdc: front post double crochet
BPdc: back post double crochet
Fdc: foundation double crochet
dc: double crochet
