In this written pattern you will find instructions for the bucket fishing hat with details on the decorative band around the hat as well as the chin straps PLUS the pattern for the adorable little fish to complete the set. I have included many up close photos to show all the details in progress.

Hat measures approx. 14 inches around.

You will need a sport weight yarn in taupe, I use Carons 1lb in taupe but many brands will work well for this. From the 1lb yarn I can make several of these hats! In addition you will need sport weight yarn in a soft orange, I use Vanna’s Choice Baby- Duckie and as well as scraps of black and white, 2-3 yards each will be fine! I also use 2 8mm buttons for the fish eyes or you can embroider these with yarn also.

You will need a size K hook and a yarn needle, plus a smaller eye needle if you use buttons.
